Register with the WA Government Job Board

Employment opportunities with the Government of Western Australia, including DEC, are listed on the WA Government Job Board.  When you register with this site an email will be forwarded to you automatically whenever a DEC position of potential interest to you is advertised.

How to register on the WA Government Job Board: Click Here

  1. Go to the WA Government Job Board at http://jobs.wa.gov.au.
  2. Select 'Search for Job Vacancies on the WA Government Job Board'.
  3. Select 'Email Me Jobs' from left menu.
  4. Register by accepting the conditions.
  5. Complete the 'New Account Details' and Save. (A password will be sent to your email address - this may take a few minutes).
  6. Select 'Login' from left menu, and complete details of email address and password.
  7. Select 'profile' under 'My Jobs.
  8. Select Environment and Conservation, Department of from the 'Agency' search box (you may also select options from other search boxes e.g. Occupation, Salary Range, etc to further define positions of potential interest to you), and Save.

Now that you are registered, an email will be sent to you whenever a DEC job of potential interest to you is advertised.   You can access and download any of these job vacancies plus supporting information, and submit your application online via the WA Government Job Board if you wish.

To view vacancies after registering:

  1. Go to the WA Government Job Board at http://jobs.wa.gov.au/.
  2. Select 'Login' from left menu and complete email address and password details.
  3. Select 'My Jobs' from the left menu for a list of all current DEC job opportunities of potential interest to you.
