Keeping reptiles and amphibians as pets, like any other pet, requires a commitment. They generally live quite long lives and require special care.

What species are suitable for beginners?

  • Northern Green Tree Frog (Litoria caerulea)
  • Western Green Tree Frog (Litoria moorei)
  • Binoe’s Gecko (Heteronotia binoei)
  • Northern Spiny-tailed Gecko (Strophurus ciliaris)

  • Western Bearded Dragon (Pogona minor minor)
