Industry Licensing System The Industry Licensing System is now accepting online applications for works approvals, licences, annual licence fees and registrations. You can access the Industry Licensing System here.
Note that applications for transfers, amendments and refunds are not currently available through the Industry Licensing System. Please use the P4 and P5 forms below for these kinds of applications.
The Department of Environment and Conservation has strong regulatory powers to manage and protect the environment, particularly in areas where human activities have the potential to pollute or otherwise impact on the quality of air, land or water. Our role - Industry Licensing and RegulationThe department has responsibility under Part V of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 for the licensing and registration of prescribed premises, licensing of controlled waste transporters, and administration of a range of regulations. We also monitor and audit compliance with works approvals, licence conditions and regulations, take enforcement actions as appropriate, and develop and implement departmental licensing and industry regulation policy.
