Three-year Indicative Timber Harvest Plan for Native Forests

Swan, South West and Warren Regions, 2010 to 2012

The three-year (2010-2012) indicative timber harvest plans for the Swan, South-West and Warren regions are now available.

The Department of Environment and Conservation has prepared the three-year indicative timber harvest plans in accordance with the Forest Management Plan 2004-2013 and in consultation with the Forest Products Commission.

The plans comprise a list of harvest areas or forest coupes, associated sawlog volumes and maps showing the location of the coupes where timber harvesting is proposed for 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Separate to this process, the Forest Products Commission has released the 2011 annual indicative timber harvest plan for public comment. Information on the 2011 annual indicative timber harvest plan can be found at theei website: http://www.fpc.wa.gov.au/go/harvestplans

The deadline for submitting comments closed in 7 December 2011.
