The Western Australian Threatened Species Scientific Committee (TSSC) meets at least annually to consider nominations to list or delist threatened species, or to change the IUCN threat rank of listed species. The public is invited to submit nominations to amend the current Declared Rare Flora and Specially Protected Fauna lists. The listing process:
TSSC meetings are usually held near the end of the first quarter of the calendar year. The closing date for nominations for TSSC meetings is the last Friday of January that year. Applications may be forwarded at any time. See Nomination Guidelines for contact details. |
