Bibbulmun Walk 2008 - the journey of a decade

On the 13th September 1998, the 'new' Bibbulmun Track was formally opened in Albany. Ten years on, this milestone will be commemorated with an End-to-End walk, finishing at the Northern Terminus in Kalamunda on the 13th September 2008, celebrating the 10th Anniversary.

Starting in Albany on Wednesday 16 July, 2008, a small group of walkers accompanied by guides will spend the next eight weeks walking the Track to Kalamunda, arriving to a warm welcome on Saturday 13 September. People from all over Australia are encouraged to join in the celebrations by walking a section on this historic End-to-End walk or by joining one of the community celebrations along the way.

Notice of Intent for Organised Groups

Non-Commercial Organised Groups (with 8 to 17 members) planning to conduct Overnight Expeditions on DEC Managed Tracks or Trails need to complete a Notice of Intent Form. Overnight facilities can not accomodate more than this amount.
