Green Stamp logo Green Stamp is an innovative program originally developed by the Motor Trade Association (MTA) of Western Australia in conjunction with the Department of Environment. Due to its success and interest from other industry groups, the Green Stamp program has expanded and now also covers both the printing and cleaning industries, represented by the Printing Industries Association of Australia (PIAA) and Building Service Contractors Association of Australia (BSCAA) - WA Division respectively.

Adopting a grass-roots approach, the program assists small to medium-sized businesses to incorporate processes that avoid, reduce, reuse, recycle and dispose of waste in an environmentally friendly manner. Much of the success of the program comes from the fact that it has been developed in conjunction with the relevant industry associations and so the information produced and issues addressed are specific to the target businesses.
