The Perth Hills Centre
The Perth Hills Centre (Allen Road, Mundaring - just off the Mundaring Weir Road) is within the Beelu National Park (formerly Mundaring NP) and is a great place to begin your adventure into the Perth Hills. Open every day of the year (except Christmas day) from 10am until 4pm, it is an invaluable source of information on recreational opportunities within the area. The friendly staff can advise you on the many trails you can hike, ride, or walk. Or if you prefer, visit the Centre simply to sit and enjoy the natural environment. With so many National and Regional Parks in the area there is always something enjoyable to do in the Perth Hills! The Centre is also home to Nearer to Nature, which provides the community with fun, interactive activities that are designed to enhance your nature experience. The Centre offers an extensive range of maps and guides, gift ideas, local art and souvenirs as well as drinks and ice-creams, and the outside deck offers a beautiful place to stop for a relaxing coffee.
