Three-year (2011-2013) indicative timber harvest plan

The three-year (2011-2013) indicative timber harvest plans for the Swan, South-West and Warren regions are now available.

The Department of Environment and Conservation has prepared the three-year indicative timber harvest plans in accordance with the Forest Management Plan 2004-2013 and in consultation with the Forest Products Commission (FPC).

The plans comprise a list of harvest areas or forest coupes, associated sawlog volumes and maps showing the location of the coupes where timber harvesting is proposed.

Swan region

South West region

Warren region

Printed copies of the coupe lists and related maps can also be requested by contacting the Project Officer, Sustainable Forest Management, Crawley.

Separate to this process, the FPC manages the annual indicative timber harvest plan for release and public comment. Information on the annual indicative timber harvest plan can be found at the FPC website, www.fpc.wa.gov.au. The annual timber harvest plan comprises the list of scheduled coupes planned for harvesting for that year. 

The closing date for comments is Friday 7 December 2011.
