A teacher (K-12) competition is being held to build a set of materials for the new Great Western Woodlands (GWW) EcoEducation resource. A Teacher Professional Learning tour of the GWW is being conducted on the 10th to 12th October.

Discover the Walpole Wilderness Friday 8 and Saturday 9 June 2012 An exciting opportunity to discover the Walpole Wilderness and the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk on this professional learning program for middle school teachers (years 5 to 8). Experience the three remarkable discovery sites that interpret the Walpole Wilderness.
- Explore Mount Frankland’s summit and experience the breathtaking wilderness vistas.
- Enjoy a walk through the 500-metre art loop walk at Swarbrick and contemplate the wilderness wall of perceptions.
- Visit the famous Tree Top Walk and take part in one of our renowned Forest by night guided walks.
- Learn about education programs offered at the TreeTop Walk and explore possibilities for student learningcamps.
