Introduction:
Perup forest consists of 52,000 hectares of jarrah forest and wandoo woodlandand is home to six rare Australian mammals.
Night time is when the chuditch, woylie, tammar wallaby, ringtail possum and southern brown bandicoot come out, making Perup forest an ideal place to observe noctural wildlife.
This forest is also home to the Perup Forest Ecology Centre & Wilderness Lodge. located 50 km east of Manjimup, the centre offers a spectacular wilderness experience, second to none. Overnight stays are possible by prior arrangement.
