LANDSCOPE Expeditions

With the completion of the expeditions offered in 2009, the LANDSCOPE Expeditions program has now been wound up. There will not be a program in 2010.

The end of this program is part of measures taken by the Department of Environment and Conservation to reduce expenditure and operate effectively at a time of financial restraint.

While the LANDSCOPE Expeditions program was an excellent model of ecotourism in its purest form, it was expensive to manage and did not generate enough revenue to fully cover its cost.
