Wetlands data

Across the state various activities are being conducted to try and learn more about our complex wetlands and their systems. Data from these projects is stored in many forms and in many places.

WetlandBase seeks to collate wetland information in a central database in order to make it more accessible to the public.

A Wetland Resource Condition monitoring project is a project being completed by the Wetlands Section to provide baseline data for sites where:

1. little or no information is available; and
2. further knowledge is needed.

Eventually, all information gathered from the project will be available through WetlandBase.
