Page 1 of 9 Before heading out onto the Bibbulmun Track, it is important you check the current conditions and are aware of any changes that may impact on your journey.
There may be maintenance or construction projects near or on the track or weather impacts that result in temporary diversions or changes. These will not be marked on your map or guidebook. This section of the website will inform you of these occurrences. Temporary diversions are marked with white Waugal trail markers (black snake on white base). There are signs indicating the increased length of the diversion and the dates applicable. If you encounter a diversion whilst walking, follow the trail markers instead of your map. The diversion will soon join the Track indicated on your map. To check current conditions in the area you are walking, click on the relevant links at the top right corner of this page. Groups on the TrackNon-commercial groups of walkers with eight or more members that are staying overnight at Bibbulmun Track campsites are asked to fill out a Notification of Intent (NOI) form and submit it to DEC's Recreation and Trails Unit.
