DEC conducts a program of prescribed burning operations during spring and autumn each year. Prescribed burning operations are undertaken for a variety of reasons including property protection, fuel reduction and biodiversity management. The following sections of Trail may be affected by prescribed burning operations during spring/summer 2009-10. For your safety, follow onsite signage and directions from DEC staff. Map 2a

Hines Road to Whittaker Road - includes Dandalup campsite (DWP_019) PRESCRIBED BURN IN PROGRESS - DWELLINGUP TO MURREY RIVER, BODEN POWELL CAMPSITE - MAP 2B - 6 NOVEMBER 2009 The Perth Hills District is conducting a prescribed burn along Nanga Road in between River Road and Park Road. The trail is NOT closed however beware of smoke in the area.
BRIDGE WORKS - Scarp Road - Map 2aWork on the Scarp Road bridge will continue until the end of October 2009. For the duration of works the 14km of the Trail south of Jarrahdale will be closed. The Trail has been diverted 20km along Kingsbury Drive. For more information please contact the Perth Hills District Office
